==Setting== Little Jenny Starkweather is an innocent 12 year old girl with a dirty face and skinned knees. Little Jenny has lost her mother and father though. Mean dog-men in black armor came and took them all away and there was nothing she could do about it. Momma had done her best to hide her in the back of the house behind some bushel baskets, but they found her just the same. She'll never forget how the man with the spiked helmet had looked at her before calling her a flat-scan and moving on. Little Jenny Starkweather has attached herself to the group. She wants to learn how to fight so one day she can rescue her mom and dad from the Coalition States psionic detention center. This scenario is best suited to people that want to be heroes. How far will you go though? Will you take on the girl and show her what she wants to know? Or will you go that extra mile and find where the Starkweathers are being detained? Will you save the family? Or will you attempt to free all of the psychic mutants imprisoned in the camp? Depending on the strategy that the players choose this could be a very short game, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. If you're interested in trying out one of the rule sets I offer to run ''Rifts'' with, it could be a very good option. This storyline might also turn up in another game, like ''[[User:Bill/King of the Road|King of the Road]]''. ==Characters== The players are either members of a group of adventurers or a band of mercenaries, which option the group picks should be decided before characters are generated. Adventurers offers a slightly wider range of available character concepts, but I'll be more lenient about gruesomely overpowered characters if the group decides to be mercenaries. ==Rules== I do not normally use the ''Palladium Role Playing System'' if I can avoid it. While it can be made serviceable, I just don't like it. I would be willing to use it though; if only to point out how bad it is. Alternatively, I would be happy to use any point-based generic game in my collection or use my own ''Rifts''-inspired homebrew.
