Gonna expand this, but broad strokes: raised in the bad quarter of Remas, joined a mercenary company at 16, company disbanded after being nearly wiped out when she was 21, entered a nearby Myrmidian temple, soon rose to a moderately high rank in the temple, ended up being promoted sideways when she was on the losing end of a power struggle after it's chief priestess died.
