Found as an egg by another slimeshifter -- one Yellow of Saewel -- she was raised for her maturation year in Crosstown, but apparently couldn’t stand her mother (Verdant refuses to discuss specifics) and hopped a Snake Line train to Sangoshu.  There she bummed around Coral University for 6 years, falling in with the Marauding Maidens and their adventures and falling in love with the hybrid pony Blue.  Eventually, however, Verdant (who went by “Green” at the time) started to feel useless next to the skills of her friends and went to intern for the supernatural peacekeepers The 9 Thunders.  There she learned practical skills for dealing with danger and the confidence needed to feel she could make a contribution.  In fact she had so much confidence that she then joined Sol Senshin of her own volition to have some fun chasing magical girl skirts...............that turned out to be a bad idea.  Hence she joined TIME.
