Called 'The Wise'. He was first encountered near Esgaroth, encouraging some guardsmen to betray their employer. He fled, and many months later the heroes encountered him as an adviser to the petty warlord [[Valter]] the Bloody. Their last encounter with him was at Mountain Hall, where he was going by the alias Haramir and seemed to be in league with the goblins attacking the mines. He knew Magric and tried to attack the wounded man, at the cost of his own life.

He seems to have some sort of sorcerous power; being able to influence people to take rash actions and to prepare bags that explode when they strike a hard surface.
