Wind over the Slaughtering Fields, known as Onyx, is the raven familiar of Ebon Hand of the Dragon.  They met at the war between Saloy Hin and the army commanded by the exalted.  As their eyes met in midair in the afterglow of the battle, and as the army was putting out all the spreading fires, they both knew that the missing part of their lives had been found.  They are now nearly inseparable, where you find one, you find the other.
