*Aisling spent her first six or seven years in Ireland with her mother, before moving to Emerald City with after her father gained custody of her. This left her with a near-permanent Irish accent, which mostly comes out when she’s angry or stressed.
*Her father, a writer and pastor at a local church, is not a poor man, and she grew up in Southern Shores, lacking almost nothing. She could have been spoiled – and there are some who say she was – but she has never been a mean-spirited person and enjoys helping others, mostly due to her father’s influence.
*She’s well-versed in social media – she wouldn’t call herself an influencer, but she’s well on her way to that role.
*She was in the Yellow Brick Row when the Silver Storm hit, and claims to all and sundry that she wasn’t anywhere near the epicenter.
Whether that’s true or not, she was changed. She found that even the coldest days didn’t affect her – not that they had done much before – and soon learned that the winds themselves obeyed her desires.
*Being who she is, she knew immediately that she had to do something with that newfound power. Knowing that she could tell him anything – she’d come out to him as lesbian when she was only 13 – she immediately told her father. While he would very much prefer that she didn’t put herself at risk, he knew he would do the same, and provides her what support he can.
*His reach in Emerald City is long, and as his daughter, she’s met many of the powerful. She even has contact information for some of them. When she heard about the theft – and the fact that AEGIS was involved – she knew she needed to investigate.
