'''Hail Traveler''' and welcome to Wisrtum, (''pronounced Wizzer'Tumb'') a ''classical fantasy'' world with dragons, wizards; dark and sinister villans; and rag-tag defenders of good. It is an epic world where empires rise and fall like the rising and setting of the sun.

Just what is ''classical fantasy'' anyway? This, fellow traveler, is fantasy with a medeval feel: spiced by magic; darkened by truly evil villans; and cast in a rough, edgy tone. It is a world filled with: Dwarves, Elves, Gnomes, and Orcs along-side Human men. A world of crafty political intrigue, war, and treachery. This world is vast, and expansive: great floating island-states ruled by corrupt mages, deepl-delved tunnels mined by greedy Dwarves, and some dark planes where magic can be harldy wielded by mere men.

Wisrtum is intended to be RPG-System agnostic: built upon without care for which RPG engine is used by the player and GM using the material. As such, it is up to the community, through the magic of the wiki, to render in game-terms such material is needed for various systems. In short: no more waiting for "official" statistics for ''xyz'' game system. If you want somthing here to appear in a game system you love: port it. Also, Wisrtum is to be logically consistent. Though cities may fly, and carpets too, no cave is inhabited by creatures which dine solely on adventurers.
