World's Edge is the weapon retrieved by Kazoth from the treasures of Mortsdron, the Frost Giant Jarl, when he and his party liberated the Rune Giants from their slavery. World's Edge was forged at the beginning of time by farseers and immortals not yet named, before the wondrous discovery of High Magic and when the Words of True Creation still echoed throughout the Wheel. It was designed to be the sharpest sword in the world, and still contends the title - were it not so long fallen from record as to be impossibly obscure. A weapon so sharp it even bites its wielder, the sword has a wide blade, simply decorated with a gold-taloned crossguard and the suggestion of some beast's visage along the blade. Despite its almost indestructible construction, aeons of use have left it nicked in a few places - though these small damages seem to do nothing to impede its function. All the names of its previous wielders have been lost to the sands of time. World's Edge is a +6 adamantine greatsword with the Deadly Precision, Eager, Greater Wounding, Keen, Maiming, and Vicious properties. These properties have the following game effects. The weapon has an equivalent enhancement bonus of +15. *Deadly Precision: +1d6 Sneak Attack *Eager: Can be drawn as a free action; +2 initiative when held; +2 dmg in surprise round and first round of combat *Greater Wounding: Each hit on a living creature deals 2 points of Con damage *Keen: Threat range is 17-20 *Maiming: +1d6 damage on a critical hit *Vicious: +2d6 damage per hit, but wielder takes 1d6 damage per hit.
