An NPC in Welcome to Holy Question Mark, a campaign set in the Amberverse using modified Lords of Gossamer and Shadow rules. ==Bernardo "Bearcat" Cavagnaro== It is a sign of the sort of school Holy Question Mark is that the teachers generally call students by their preferred names, some of them even calling Bernardo Cavagnaro "Bearcat." He refuses to answer to his given name any more, so those who won't stoop to "Bearcat" call him "BC," an ambiguity he grudgingly accepts. Only Assistant Dean Healey and some of the crueler students call him "Bernardo" these days, and he is well-known to have sucked up a Saturday Morning Work Detail once as penalty for ignoring the Dean of Mean calling him by his "larval-stage name." Someone as good-looking as BC could easily get a lot of action despite being a colossal stoner and merely average academically. In fact, he's "friends with benefits" with more than one girl at the Institute, but never dates. ==Advanced Spirituality== Those who are in Rev. Dr. Foley's Advanced Spirituality class know that BC claims to be talented in astral projection, though he has to be stoned to do it, which makes doing it in class impossible. Furthermore, it's a talent Dr. Foley herself does not possess. The most she can do to aid him in his spiritual development is to work on meditation as a substitute for marijuana in unlocking his power. During the Big Reveal, it came out that he can shapeshift into an anthro tiger. He got very upset when Maple told him that a "bearcat" wasn't a tiger at all, but a binturong.
