'''Cleveland Jaeger''' (everybody calls him Cleave) is a tall, lean fellow, good-natured and a bit on the quiet side (unless you get him talking about some kind of martial art, at which point he may talk your ear off), and an Olympics-track competitive fencer (he fences épée, because right-of-way is ridiculous).

''Fun Facts About Cleave:''
* He has an extensive collection of movies involving hand-to-hand and melee combat. The rumor that he ''only'' owns movies involving fighting is false, but understandable.
* He's banned from any future Ren Faire visits after using a fake ID to participate in a weapons demonstration.
* He has a scimitar and a battle cloak given to him personally by the Nawab of Ismailistan after he saved Princess Sakeena's life.
* He plays an assortment of musical instruments proficiently. His ukulele rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody" is legendary among the fencing team.
* He plays tournament-level go, having gotten started because of the anime series ''Hikaru No Go.''
