Yevgeniy Garcia, 30, worked his way up through the ranks in MLSE to the rank of Detective before being transferred to ULSE. He's a relentlessly hardworking man, always short on sleep and running close to the edge of burnout. Yevgeniy is tall and lanky looking, with Eastern European features, but with slightly darker skin than you'd expect from that part of the world. He's a quiet guy, but surprisingly sympathetic, so ULSE often puts him in investigations requiring a lot of "man on the street" face-time. He seems like the kind of guy you'd want to grab a drink with after work. Sixteen months ago, while investigating a smuggling ring operated by the Iwakura crime syndicate, Garcia vanished. Two months later, a raid by operatives from the Nephilim Society found him in an illegal research lab's test-vats. After four weeks in a Society clinic, he resurfaced in Upperlevel. His friends and fellow cops who thought he was dead, welcomed him back, and he resumed work in ULSE. Since returning, his "cop instincts" have bordered on the supernatural, but his longtime partner, Officer Tomoko Alexandra, has grown increasingly worried about his erratic behavior in the field. His problems grew steadily worse, and he was temporarily moved to a desk job. His reassignment to the Special Contingencies team, then, came as a complete surprise. He and Tomoko suspect that the Society intervened on his behalf. He lives in an apartment in Upperlevel with his wife Rachel and their one-year-old daughter, Rebecca. His relationship with Rachel took a turn for the worse since his abduction and return. ---- Future Imperfect
