It is the solemn duty of the Panhandler Brotherhood to further the values of justice, benevolence, and the proper way. In the execution of this grave and sacred mission, occasionally unsavory means must be employed. Though carried out with great reluctance, nonetheless such deeds are by their nature both necessary and repugnant to the average Xia-abiding member of the Brotherhood. When such occasion arises that a man must disappear for the good of the Fraternity, the Brothers turn to one of their own, deep in their counsels, who has turned his face away from Heaven. They turn to the Black-Handed Beggar, a position so secret that none but the most powerful Beggars ever hear of it. In these turbulent times the Black-Handed Beggar comes from the Zhao family. He is a man who neither enjoys nor despises his duty; he functions solely for the greater good. And it is in pursuit of that good that he has sought to claim the prize of the Bronze Dragon Tournament. Nothing more is known of his motives, or even if his coming was requisitioned by his superiors. This much is clear, however: he will stop at nothing to claim victory. <i>"Classified information."</i> <nowiki> The Black-Handed Beggar, Zhao Rank 4 Priest Awareness 5 Hardiness 5 (+5 Resist Doctor's Arts) Confidence 10 (+5 Resist Courtier's Arts) Stealth 10 (+5 Concealment over Deception) Wu Wei 10 (+5 Resist Secret Arts) Survival (+5 Roughing it) [Free] Benevolence 4 Ferocity 5 Force 5 Individualism 1 Honor 1 Obsession 1 Loyalty 1 Revenge 1 Righteousness 1 Ruthlessness 5 External: Divine Pattern Long Strokes (Forbidden Gate of Heaven) [5D] Weapon: Dog-Beating Stick - Staff plus either Massive or Flexible Internal: Boundless Prosperity Manual (Be Where You Must, Covering Weakness With Strength, Five Elements Supreme Combination, God-Body Transcendence) [14D] Secret Arts: - Manipulating Influences [Free] - Extraordinary Priest Techniques [Free] Loresheets: - Baneful Heresy [10E] - The Beggar Fraternity [5E] *3 Status: Plain Clothes Division [3D] *0 Technique: Beggar Fraternity Kung Fu *2 Technique: Dog-Beating Stick [2D] Chi: Normal 10 (Cultivation 7/10) Wood 3 (Cultivation 4/15) - Deviation: Green hair, smell of fresh-cut grass, green fangs Corrupt 1 (Cultivation 0/10) - Deviation: Hands turn progressively blacker, as if stained with layers of blood. 3 Chivalrous Joss Chi Thresholds: 14/28/42 or 19/38/57 Armored Combat: Speed +5 Footwork +0 Strike +15 Block +20 Damage +10 Toughness +5 6D Unspent </nowiki>
