====Inquisitor Liriam Helshant====
The new boss, apparently. A psyker, but that seems to come with the territory. She seems to lack a sense of humour, but that is also normal. She has made some effort to get to know me though and of course it was her who brought me back to active duty. She seems less involved in the backstabbing and machiavellian politics that seem to go hand in hand with the rosette than the two previous Inquisitors I have encountered. This could all be a front though, but if it is she's a damn good actor.

====Astraea====
Given the various instabilities of psykers, even those who carry the brand, I wonder at the wisdom of letting this one have a pet feline. When it dies, and die it will, she will likely have some sort of violent breakdown. Still, I have yet to partner with a psyker who hasn't turned out to be more dangerous to the Enemy than they are to their partners so on balance having her along is a good thing. They still weird me out though, so I fear I have made less effort to get to know Astraea than any other in the cadre save the scum.

====Sephrina====
I thought about joining one of the orders of the Sisters of Battle once, but apparently they have a minimum height requirement. To be honest I'm not pious enough either. I trust that the years of service I have given to the Throne will make up for my less than regular attendance at church when the time comes for me to be judged. Anyway, I have a lot of respect for the Sororitas, especially women like Sephrina who have a sharp mind and a compassionate side on top of being deadly in a stand up fight. Definitely someone I want to have at my back

====Magos Sarus====
Every team needs a cog boy. This one seems easier to deal with than most as he makes an effort to use real words most of the time and not the arcane language of his faith. I've worked with enough now that the mechadendrites no longer creep me out. Still, they tend to have different priorities than the rest of us and their first alliegance is always to the mechanicus.

====Tai====
There but for the God Emperor's grace go I. I have heard tales of investaators who stay so deep under cover for so long that they begin to truly believe in the cult they were tasked with infiltrating. It seems this man is one of those. Still, when he is not lost in an orgy of killing heretics he is remarkably erudite and I can see how the Inquisition would want to put such a man to good use. There is an old saying from the deep hive. Better he is in your hab pissing outward than outside pissing inward.

====Sath====
This one's the muscle. If Dar were still alive he'd eat him for breakfast but on balance this guy's the next best thing. Not what you'd call a complicated man, but do you want a complicated man to be first through the breach? He is fairly civilised though for an imperial guard protege and knows when to mind his manners. I can smell the underhive on him too, which is interesting. Wonder if he joined up for a square meal a day or if he was running from something. Inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt though, I know what life's like down there.

====Marcus Frey====
An Interrogator, so being groomed by our Inquisitor as her deputy. Someone else gets to make the decisions which get people killed instead of me this time. A Commissar by trade, and he looks better in the uniform than I did, though not by much. While I don't entirely agree with his leadership style, or his interrogation techniques, I can't deny he gets results. It's just when I get results nobody has to come in with a mop and bucket to wipe the blood off the floor afterwards.

====Additional Entries====
Addendum. I have seen it in the faces and heard it in the unsaid words of my colleagues. Some of them consider me lax in my ablutions, or even unclean. While I follow the Imperial Guard washing regime every day I fear that I have no hope of joining the ranks of the lily white soap smelling hive elite. When you grow up so deep in the hive that the very air is laced with a thousand forms of pollutant then the filth becomes a part of you that can no more be removed than your skin can be taken off, scrubbed and sewn back on again (yes I am aware that some within the Inquisition have the skill with Biomancy to do such a thing). Still, anywhere below the middle hive a clean face is a dead giveaway one does not belong.
