*'''Personality:''' You know the alien seductress man-eaters in the movies who are kind of really awkward and don't entirely understand how to be human but still get away with social'ing someone into going somewhere sketchy together because they're beautiful and seemingly waifish? She's like that, except her awkwardness is mostly human (and Begotten) and born mostly of very late blooming and a naturally reticent, quiet manner. Unless she's getting low on Satiety, which charges her with a hungry energy, she's low-key, dry, sarcastic, avoiding attention. She likes and wants to help people but feels it's kind of cliché and avoids letting anyone notice if she can get away with it. 
*'''Background:''' Daughter of Indian immigrant small-business owners from the Mahar community in Mumbai. Always felt far more alien in New Orleans than her siblings (one older brother, very much an entrepreneur at 28, and two sisters in high school who are far more naturally gregarious), and now knows why. Not sure yet if she was brought to the US as a child or born here, but was definitely here by middle school. Devoured during her final year of college, and now more at loose ends than her parents would really prefer - she has a job as a lifeguard (at an indoor pool complex) and another as a pizza delivery cyclist to put together rent money, but nothing spare and nothing she really likes. She lives for her Ravager escapades but the only careers she's thought of so far that line up with it are 'burglar' and 'terrorist' and she doesn't want to take that jump.

A stretch of open water in the middle of a downpour, with mysterious entanglements filling the water and tangling you up - a nightmare man-eating sargasso sea, or the aftermath of some alien spawning. Sometimes it seems closer to land than others, depending on the state of the Hive and if she's connected to a Brood; it's too hard for most to escape the engulfing water for the nearby to impinge on the scene's integrity.
*Chamber: 
Zoya's second chamber is tied to the showers at the pool where she works, where she once sabotaged the water so it ran hot and clouding and confusing and flooding while she indulged some use of Nightmares; it's the current urban reflection of her Lair, a nightmare maze that's not confusing enough to get lost, just labyrinthine enough to circle endlessly and cut off your line of sight, steam and cutting water everywhere amidst anonymous construction far more run-down than it is in real life.
