Of medium height (though tall for his people) and athletic build, with grey skin, amber eyes, and long white hair tied in a loose ponytail. Wears dark grey silk, bright silvery mail and a stylish scarlet sash at his waist. Zrith is generally patient and cheerful, in a quiet, nonchalant kind of way. Likes to curse in Dwarven (it just sounds more satisfying). Mercenary to the core and fiercely independent: he can always be hired, as long as the price is right and the employer to his taste, but never bought. He insists he follows a strict personal code of honor, which may or may not be true as he's never quite managed to elaborate on what exactly this supposed code entails. Freely admits to being "a bloody bastard", too.

Zrith himself is not quite clear where he came from (other than "up North"). If asked, he tells - with characteristic glee - how one day his human father found the infant half-drow abandoned on his doorstep, accompanied by a short note that simply stated his name, parentage and the mother's complete lack of interest. The good man promptly picked him up, took him away and left him at the door of a local orphanage. They didn't want him, either, so they handed him over to a passing elf, who reluctantly took him home and passed him on to a second cousin, and ''she'' raised him as her own (if only for lack of anyone else to dump him on, as she fondly claims).
