Distinctions[edit]

Distinctions are ranked at D8a.png by default, but each one comes with the Hinder SFX, allowing you to instead roll it at D4a.png and earn a Plot Point if the distinction works against you in this situation.

Humanity[edit]

Humanity tells the tale of who you were before the change, before the night - what you did, who you loved - when you walked under the sun.

This distinction represents what could have been and what you might still yearn for.

Mystery[edit]

You have inherited the lifeless stamina of the corpse. You don't experience fatigue or exhaustion, and you don't need to breath.

You can see in all manner of dark as easily as mortals see by the light of day. Nothing is hidden from you.

This is the what is known of your kind.

The Mystery is what is not known. The Mystery is what makes you unique among vampires.

This distinction represents the discipline needed to not get sidetracked by the past nor to allow the beast to hold sway over your actions.

Savagery[edit]

Every vampire has a beast within, the savage animating force that allows them to exist. You might keep the beast at bay by embracing your Humanity or embracing the Mystery, but the underlying Savagery is always there waiting to come out.

This distinction represents what happens when you let go.

Blood Dice[edit]

Blood dice are a character resource. Characters start play with a number of blood dice equal to the rank of their scale die. Blood dice share the same rank as their scale die.

Power Set[edit]

Choose a Power Set. You must keep at least two powers from your set. The third may come from your set or from the Wildling set.

Alternately, you may choose three powers from the Wildling set.
