History

Created by Professor Gene Buchan AKA Gene Master to gain funding, resources and equipment for his experiments in the creation of Chimera and uplifted Genomorphs, and maintenance of his island base. Made of a mix of his earlier experiments and custom units, this team grew and shifted membership over its decades of crimes. Its ever rotating and changing teams supported by their genomorpthic henchmen, committed their crimes under the leash of the threat of removal of treatment of their Dr moreau syndrome. Their crimes focused on mainly laboratories and financial institutes, with the majority of their attacks being targeted at superheroes who tried to stop their missions.

As a group the Savage Agents were more a family, at least during downtime between missions, each involved in their own projects and interests. During missions, they where a mixed bag of seemingly professionals and disjointed goals. Due to the large shifting nature of the agent's teams, many cliches existed and internal politics played a part of their culture.

The ending of this group came when Gene Master, in a bid to gain even more power and control over genetics, dived into one of the many mystical realms. It was in this realm that he seeked the evolutionary tree, a mystical embodiment of evolution and genetic change. It was there he attempted to merge the tree's form and its wisdom with his own. Only to be interrupted by a superhero team, causing the process be reversed and for Gene Master to be sealed living inside the tree.

In the aftermath The Savage Agents easily surrendered, after all there was little point without their Master to administer their treatments but instead of a future of return to beastly forms, a combined effort of The Unnature Reserve and experts in the fields of biology and genetics, Gene Master's notes where reversed engineered. At this point the trials of The Savage Agents started to take place, and with complex deals and plea bargains, the Agents found their new futures, given mercy due to the unreasonable durest they were under. While they were not forbidden from getting into to contact with each other, it's was considered them all living together was not healthy or advisable at a national security level.

Gene Master
Official name: Gene Buchan
Role: Leader and Genetic Genius
Current status: Alive:Trapped

A typical mad scientist, Gene Buchan was a tall Scottish man seemingly in his early 30's and likely was during his original introduction to the world stage in the 60's. While he rose to early prominence in his field, his aggressive and abusive personality with little patience toward those he considered lesser combined with experiments whose results rarely matched the funding it took to get, soon lead to most universities and research facilities refusing to work with him

While it was his greatest tool in controlling his creations, Gene Buchan considered their Dr moreau syndrome his greatest shame, and one of his shallow promises was to cure his creations one day. The reversed engineered notes though, show that while that goal was not impossible, such a treatment would be a massive undertaking of research and bioindustrial production. Which was something outside the budget and resources of many nations, let alone a solitary genius running on stolen resources.

Moon Mane
Official name: Martin Main

Species: Wolf/Lion Chimeric Uplifted Genomorph

An impressively tall and muscular creation, the Silver furred Moon Mane was created with the intention of being a soldier and leader and was trained while developing in his In Vitro Pod in leadership, military skills and squadron tactic. Almost never seen out of his green armoured jumpsuit and on the island could be seen constantly training himself, the other agents and their Henchmen. While he was distant in an attempt, to avoid frivolous fraternisation and to focus on planning tactics and procedures for future missions, island gossip suggested that he had a secret romance.

Joined up with the military as soon as he was legally able to, and has formed a contented life inside it's structure, one where he is less of a loner.

Iron Horn

Species: Rhino/Turtle Chimeric Uplifted Genomorph

While Moon mane is tall and muscular Iron Horn was the prototypal brick, unnaturally tall and broad shouldered. He was often seen dressed as a WWE Wrestler in his trunks and open vest. Mostly looking like an anthro rhino, he was adorned with brown scales, with his shell and horn possessing biologically grown iron. Iron Horn waw not directly made to be unintelligent, but Gene Buchan focused his design on loyalty and an unquestioning nature, while providing less then the standard amount of In Vitro Pod training. Friendly and ever helpful to his family of the agents, he struggled to build connections to the outside world. Iron Horn also saw little to no personal benefit to sophant status and only kept it because that's what Gene Buchan wanted.

Since his trials, he is one of the few members of the agents to willingly refuse treatment, instead opting to return to an animal like state and live at The Unnature Reserve. He is a peaceful, if protective, and content animal at the reserve, able to free wonder the artificial wilds, where he has made positive connections to many of the other animals and caregivers.

Fang Claw

Species: Cobra/Scorpion Chimeric Uplifted Genomorph

A grey scaled Naga like women who's chest is covered in her scorpion like legs and back with black exoskeletal plates, with a tail ending in a poisonous telson. processing 2 sets of arms one human and the other scorpion. Lacking full mammalian emotional depth, she is still surprisingly intelligent and social, loving to engage in long conversations, though rarely talks about herself. The only member of the Agents to actually kill someone, she had hid it from the rest of the team.

Holds genetic morph supremacist views, believing their created nature makes them better then evolved creatures. She is currently serving a life sentence for her murder that came to light during the trials for the agents crimes.

Ozzy
Official Name: Oswald Green
Role: Primary infiltration, petty theft, secondary combatant
Current Status: Civilian/Super:trickster
Species: Barbary macaque /grey parrot Chimeric Uplifted Genomorph

A grey furred and feathered chimera, Ozzy has always dressed in a weird mix of surfer, gen x slacker and hippy style clothing. His beaked face having an almost eternal smile to it. Almost never seen normally standing or sitting, but dangling from the nearest structure that will hold his weight. His wings are too weak for actual prolonged flight, but are still able to gain extra altitude and glide short distances.

Original creation was an attempt to produce a sophant being without using human dna or uplift procedures. The experiment was a failure, producing an intelligence, playful, and vocal creature but not one processing a full ability in abstract thinking. Third creation to be placed into the uplift process and was more an attempt to dispose of a perceived annoyance rather then a true project. As an agent Ozzy was a expert at breaking into secure buildings and distracting or misleading guards and superheroes.

Since gaining his freedom, Ozzy has found profitable employment as a security consultant, mostly focused on penetration testing. That said his playful trickster nature, means he can't help but challenge heroes and villains in tests of skills. While such actions are annoying to many, they never cross the line into criminal behaviour.

Blue Healer AKA The Vet
Official Name: Thea Veale
Role: Head of Medical, Counselor, field medic & biology expert
Current Status: Super:Disaster relief
Species: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Jay Chimeric Uplifted Genomorph

Known as The Vet, this bright blue dog avian mixed chimera, was often seen with a melancholy look. In the field she was often seen on the sidelines dressed in medic appropriate gear, on the island was often seen dressed in flowing dresses. Created to deal with the recurrent medical needs of the agents that Gene Buchan was too busy or uncaring to deal with, she was often overworked and stressed. She expanded her skills beyond just dealing with emergency treatment, covering the therapeutic needs as well. She was quick to train the various henchmen into being a medical support staff, helping lighten her load and create a stable health care system for the island. She was often also used as a biology expert in the field, when Gene wanted something specific or complicated task completed but not personally involved.

Renaming her super identity to Blue Healer, she joined up with one of the super teams that focused on disaster relief over crime fighting. While still highly likely to over work herself this blue robe wearing medic has found her calling and healthy support in her team. Being public as this hero, she has the best popularity all the ex agent, and a civilian life with many new friends.

Shimmer
Official Name: Jeana Shale
Role: Espionage, infiltrator. PR and Social manager
Current Status: Civilian:Minor Politician
Species: Chameleon/Octopus/???? Chimeric Uplifted Genomorph

Note: processes shapeshifting outside of expected bounds based on Gene Bucan claims of genetic mix, test reveal unusual genetics.

This tentacled and iridescent scaled woman processes a remarkable ability to shapeshift into any humanoid form and a small number other forms, while also processing remarkable camouflage skill. A lover of fashion and the arts with a sociable and outgoing personality, she was quick to build connections outside of the island even before gaining her freedom. On mission she was the first to case a location and gain information on the target.

Taking the lead in the negotiations of their trials, Jeana was quick to enter celebrity and politics building off her online following. An intelligent and charismatic woman she is thriving in this environment and a champion in the politics of sophant creation's rights. Always ready to make any occasion a show, she is hard to trap in a debate, especially since her style is built on tricky truth.

Red Havoc

Genomorpthic Henchmen

Created from mostly simple mixes of single animals and human D.N.A, these less powerful Agents are more stable in their uplifted state needing a less expensive variation of the treatment and to receive it less often. Used as grunts, technicians, heavy lifting and any other minor role on mission and on the island. These Henchmen as they were called were grown in batches, usually based on one of the animals represented by the core members. Relationships between the henchmen and the core members varied wildly, between the Core members and the individual Henchmen. Usually dressed in uniform like jumpsuits, the Henchmen often seemed to lack individual identity.

Let off even more lightly then the Core member' who mostly got a slap on the wrist, the Henchmen were able to express their suppressed individuality and surprisingly highly trained and diverse skill sets. The vast majority [68%] of these individuals found themselves civilian jobs and lives making themselves a new part of the background of the world. Then those [22%] more used to the world of supers found themselves roles in the support roles for superheroes and their teams, working as technicians and medics. That said a small number dropped out of society, either leaving the uplifted state behind [7%] or becoming criminals or minions to Villians [2%].
