History

The Fel Markus is an example of small arenas.

It was once the private arena of General Markus Igarion, A general of the Recostak during its time of conquest of the Kihnosin. He made a fortune and spent most of it on his estate. He hoped that holding private gladitorial fights would keep him rich. He turned out to be wrong.

After the failure of his estate it was purchased by a series of owners, the last of whom burned it to the ground.

The land was seized by the local board who tore everything except the arena down and built low cost housing in the area.

In time the neighborhood became run down with several of t by e low cost housing buildings turned out to have been built with low quality materials.

The Fel Markus has changed hands several times in the hundred years since leaving a run down arena for Warrior fights

Size

The field is round an about 25 meters across. It is licensed to hold all fights from Warrior to Rank Warrior fights.

Authorizations

On open field days Authorizations are available. They cost 50 Silver. Arena officials oversee the fights and issue cards and medallions.
