Change Body[edit]
Change Powers have 3 noticable displays.
Change Body can be used for healing WP damage, but at the expense of VP (the process is painful, and the cellular structure is being redistributed). Any part of the VP cost can be paid by the character or the target. The basic DC is 20, and 1 WP is recovered for every 5 points succeeded and 5 VP spent. So, to convert 10 VP into 2 WP would be DC 30.
When Change Body is used to polymorph into a different Body type, the base DC is 30, and raises by one for every 5 points of the altered form - this will be more fleshed out once monster templates have been written, but under these rules appearing as an average human would be DC 40.
20 - Change one part of a Body's appearance (hair colour, tan)
30 - Change one part of a Body (gaining claws, centaur legs)
45 - Change Body into any other noun-form you have access to, as long as internal organs can remain flesh (flesh into stone)
60 - Change Body into any other corporeal noun-form you have access to (turn into Air is acceptable)
80 - Change Body into any other noun-form you have access to (turn into raw Mana)
Create Body[edit]
Create Powers have 3 noticable displays
Create Body can be used to heal WP without the expenditure of VP. The base DC is 20, plus 10 for each WP healed. Healing 2 WP would be DC 40.
Depending on the 'laws of reality' set down in the campaign, Create Body can be used to create animals (unless they have souls, which requires Ka), or to create undead (unless their animation requires Void/Ether, or even Negative Energy). In any case, Create Body can still create a corpse ready to be animated. Generally speaking, the DC is 20 plus one for every 5 points the new creature will posses, but this will be finished when monster templates have been written.
20 - 'Stabalise' a target to prevent further WP loss
30 - Create a volume of bone extending from the character's body
45 - Create a volume of bone in a completely arteficial structure
Control Body[edit]
Control Powers have 1 noticable display.
In settings where animals have no souls, Control Mind powers for animals can be emulated with Control Body. Mindless undead can always be controlled with this Power.
Control Body can be used to convert 1 WP into 5 VP in the reverse process to that described in Change Body
20 - Control one property of target Body (raise or lower core temperature); disrupt function of target limb; overcome the effects of nausea
30 - Control gross motor skills in target limb; completely disrupt target's entire Body; overcome the effects of toxins; improve Fortitude, Reflexes, and Athletics
45 - Control fine motor skills in target limb/gross motor skills in entire Body; Hold Person
60 - Control target Body completely
80 - complete Control over bodily functions - force nervous system to shut down or go into overdrive, etc.
Destroy Body[edit]
Destroy Powers have 2 noticable displays.
Destroy Body causes 1 WP of damage for every five points scored over the DC set by targets (Will save plus character level) x 3. So, scoring 25 against a 2nd level character with a Will score of 3 (DC 15) would do 2 WP damage.
20 - Destroy a volume of dead, non-reanimated Body
30 - Destroy a disease or other organic infection
45 - Destroy a volume of dead Body, even non-intelligent undead
Sense Body[edit]
Sense Powers have no displays as such (they can be purchased as disadvantages). Sense Powers can be noticed by using Sense Motive, Spellcraft or another Sense Power on the character.
20 - Sense one basic property of a Body (body temperature, whether they have infra-vision or not)
30 - gain a general Sense of a Body (comparable to a doctor's - brief - examination); detect presence or absence of bodies in a target area
45 - Sense specific details about a Body (remaining WP and VP, any diseases they might have); detect location of bodies in target area
60 - detect location of target bodies with vague knowledge of what they are (three orcs to our left)
80 - detect location of target bodies with specific knowledge of what they are and what they're doing (three orcs to our left, one of them is pulling out her bow!)
Summon Body[edit]
Summon Powers have 2 noticable displays.
Because the Monster templates have not been done, it is not possible to write up the Summon powers at this point.
