Background

Tjalbjørn has spent a lot time outside the village Norsica since he was a kid. His father was a sailor and adventurer, but is missing since Tjalbjørn was 10 years old. His uncle Rothgar, a hunter, raised him since and tought him how to survive in the wilderness through caution and knowledge but also strength.

From time to time Tjalbjørn encountered evil jötunn (giants) and their fellow creatures in the wild. But it wasn't until Rothgar was slain by a mighty jötunn that they became Tjalbjørn's favored enemies, and he swor an oath to avenge his uncle.
