Dice (singular die) are polyhedral randomizers used to adjudicate the outcome of uncertain events. While six-sided dice are easily the most familiar, dice are also commonly found in four-, eight-, ten-, twelve-, and twenty-sided varieties. Less commonly in thirty- and hundred-sided varieties.
