- In dormant form, appears as a small golden metal tablet, 3cm x 5cm x 0.5cm with Midchildan writing engraved on one side. In active form, appears as a large tome (30cm x 40cm x 10cm) bound in gold and inset with sapphires in a runic circle pattern. Its pages are trimmed in gold and made of heavy velum. Its spine is a dark black metal, and oddly appears almost like the action of pump-action shotgun. It stores cartridges internally, and "racks" the spine to load them on command.
