Background[edit]
Granddaughter of well-respected local Wilhemina (Willie) Mae Calhoun, Zadie is a native of Natchez, Mississippi from a family with deep roots in the area. She runs "The Cabbage Rose" a small gift shop with her grandmother and bartends at night at the "Magnolia Grill." She has always excelled at science but has plans to become a psychologist when she graduates college. Currently she takes distance ed courses at the University.
