Game: Children of the Crimson Star

Noble House Värnamo "1st house of Tyr"

General: Currently THE most powerful house in Tyr. Skilled in the way to a rediculous degree, there are secrets that NO ONE else has (and are desperate to steal). lendarily loyal to Kalak. While they have a not insignificant military presense there are very few Värnamo left after the recent ascent of Kalak and the resulting wars.

Economy: Värnamo have large fertile land holdings a small iron mine a number of oasis and the right to tax one of the causeways into Tyr. Their holdings are amongst the most profitable of any house.

Military: House Värnamo also contributes the best soldiers to the Grand Army of Tyr. The "black legion" is an extremely well equiped force that centers around a heavy infantry core with varied "auxileries" (archers, scouts, skirmishers, and cavalry). While decimated during the wars following Kalak's ascendency the "Black Legion" is still considered vital to the Grand Army of Tyr.

Political: There is no single faction in Tyr outside the Templarate of Kalak more powerful than house Värnamo. That said the very small number of actual members is proving problematic.

Known Goals: Maintaining their position. Finding a suitable match for thier princess Nicessa.
