ALVATIA: City of Wedburgh

The Cemetary[edit]

Enclosed by a low stone wall, the cemetery is crammed with the graves of Ingsby's dead. Their markers range from simple wooden headboards to stone monuments; the better class of graves are (of course) mostly those of the lords of the manor and their families. The shrine borders it on the north side, and its door opens into the cemetery. A wooden gate near the west end of the shrine keeps animals from disturbing the graves -- even so, the village is outraged every couple of years when a loose pig gets into the cemetery and roots up a recently interred body.

There are approximately three hundred marked graves here ...

Residents[edit]

Only the dead.

Transients[edit]

Robert, the servant of Father Wallace, tends the cemetery, and can be found here keeping the weeds out from time to time. Of course, any time there is a service at the shrine, attendees pass through this area to reach the door.
