The equipment belonging to The Wandering Tribe is either incredibly old, incredibly jury-rigged together, or both. As such, after any encounter where gear is strenuously used, each character will make a Survival check; failure means something is broken. Critical failure means something is broken and you don't know what yet. Replacement gear will need to be borrowed, shared, or scrounged.
