- In our normal Red Dwarf 'verse, rabbits got loose on the Oregon and all hell broke loose. Out there, somewhere, a might warrior race evolved from the bunny...
- Rabbits, lapis sapiens, are far from docile or herbivorous, as high birth rates combined with opposable thumbs wiped out all competitors.
- Rabbits are no-nonsense, efficient and border on a fascist regime for a government. They don't have much religion except for a twisted interpretation of animal rights and Bugs Bunny cartoons, the basis for their 'keep the humans down' societal ethic.
