Special Abilities

Ancestor Effigy Magic - You know the rites, traditions and skills associated with the Keeping of the Dead. When you must travel, you take some of the most ancient and wise ancestors with you. Once per scene, you may consult with the ancestors... declare a specialization in the KNOW skill that you don't already have; for the remainder of the scene you are treated as having a +2 specialization.

Woodland Magic - You are a shaman of the hunt, well versed in the ways of the forest. Once per scene you may reroll the Paragon die, if you are in a wooded environment and making a relevant skill test. Tests in combat do count as relevant for the purposes of this ability.

Special Ability - Restraining: Whenever you make a successful to-hit roll, test for Weapon Effect. If successful, treat the target as if it had been Bashed. On a Critical, the Bash is automatic with no need to roll for Weapon Effect.

Additionally, there is one piece of special equipment that you can start with, if you wish.

works only with throwing spears and upgrades them to a static +1 on the damage effect test and a Far range.
