After a night full of cheap brandy, cards and a stupid bet, Samuel suddenly woke up a board a ship of the Royal Navy. After some initial confusion about his new job at sea he accepted his new life and finally ended up on the gun deck of the Remorseless, a mighty Orc- of War. In fact he even started to enjoy trading broadsides with whatever ships out on the stormy sea and successfully did this for a few years. However his enjoyment was considerably less when the cannonballs of an Elvish frigate raked the Remorseless from stern to bow. The caused much damage and many causalities, among them Samuels left foot. Thanks to the aid of a craft surgeon and a compassionate carpenter he was fitted with a new, almost-as-good-as-the-old, wooden leg and promptly got pressed onto the HMS Cliffbumper. Here again he proved his skill as a gunner, at least until that fatefull day… Recent History: Currently Sargunt of the Queens first Artillery Brigantine (or Brigade as the Captain says). Unfortunately he lost his deckgun at some point so that currently the artillery part has been replaced by boarding and close combat.
