The Breaking Mask[edit]
"Doctor" Lilith Ivanov - she's not actually a doctor, she's 14, but she insists on being called it anyway - was raised by a deviant scientist in a lab in Horizon. She has a keen interest in her fallen caretaker's career, enjoys overacted movie villainy, and strives to emulate it...because it's easier to repress psychological fault lines than it is to deal with them.

There's a small lab in Horizon occupied by two steam robots and one fourteen-year-old mad scientist. It's covered in disused experiments, discarded or forgotten tools, unfinished meals left to grow fur and occasionally run around, and similar devices of deviant science.
In it, there dwells a 14-year-old girl with a perpetually smoke-blackened face, a thick set of metal goggles, and hair that might have been blonde once, but which is now mostly grime and smoke.
