A red-haired lean young woman with a sharp but bland face and a surpsingly low-toned voice, Irien is a former guardswoman of the 621st Imperial Division, now retired due to a combination of heroic merit and a nasty neck injury that causes her to twitch it involuntarily from muscle spasms. Prone to violence and good with a bow, Irien spends her time patrolling the borders of her black zone to drive off any ash walkers who've gotten too close to the settlements there. Recently she's been organizing a shooting contest, with the prize being a precious relic of the Reconquest she discovered buried in an old ash field: a Fenrisian greataxe.
