- Sanda's pony - killed about a month ago.
- Ser James Bayleaf - killed about two weeks ago in front of his house, apparently stabbed in the chest.
- Quentin Nary - cooper - killed about a week ago, "stabbed in the back" after he "got in a fight with someone over gods."
- Gilly Stonetoss - gnome blacksmith - killed a night ago in front of the inn, by some sort of slashing weapon
- Xalyth - kobold - killed last night in her home, by claws
Possible Clues[edit]
- Kathra's cattle were killed but not eaten.
- Someone with large, booted feet was near Gilly when he died.
- Ser James had a blade sent from the Rays of Soleus, a religious order of monster-hunters, and buried under a tree with an owl carved in the trunk.
- Gilly's teenage daughter Eryn is missing.
- Gilly was recently commissioned to make something involving a large and complicated system of locks and bars.
- A series of footprints lead away from the Stonetoss house and to a nearby copse of trees, where they become confused with some large canine tracks.
- Gilly was going to give Eryn a silver arrowhead of Elvish workmanship as a gift
