Before Episode One
Timeline: The year is 2525. Seven years have passed since Malcolm Reynolds and the crew of the Serenity exposed Alliance culpability in creating reavers in the course of trying to make a more docile and manageable populous.
And though events saw to the annihilation of much of the reaver population in the verse, it also levied a not inconsiderable blow against the almighty Alliance Navy,
Now, amidst overwhelming disapproval for the Alliance throughout the verse, rumors of uprising abound and talk of secession is whispered in many a disreputable dive bar and watering hole across the black.
