Experience can be spent to advance characters as follows:

Tier 0[edit]

Sometimes the game experience doesn't quite match with chargen expectations.   • Swap out one (1) Distinction SFX for another: 1 Experience May not swap out Hinder
  • Swap out one (1) Signature Asset SFX for another: 1 Experience
  • Add a new d6 Knack to a d6 or higher Role: 1 Experience
  • Convert a scene asset from the episode into a D6a.png Signature Asset: 1 Experience

Custom SFX guidelines may be found in the Prime handbook on pages 61-63 (excepting limits). Do not use the guidelines for distinctions found on pages 191-213.

  • Step up a D6a.png Signature Asset to D8a.png 2 Experience
  • Step up an existing Knack by one die type: 2 Experience Knacks may not be stepped up higher than the Role they are attached to.
  • Add a Distinction SFX: 2 Experience Distinctions may have no more than three (3) SFX apiece, including Hinder
  • Add a Signature Asset SFX: 2 Experience D6a.png Signature Assets may have a max of one (1) SFX. D8a.png Signature Assets may have a max of two (2).
