Infinity: Bureau Noir[edit]

Welcome to the Human Sphere. The year is 67 NC, about two hundred years into the future from present day. Humanity has burst out into the galaxy, spreading across nearly a dozen worlds.

But it’s not an easy, Utopian future. In addition to all the political and corporate problems that humanity brought with it to the stars, the alien force known as the Combined Army has been fighting a brutal war on the planet Paradiso at the edge of human space. If they win, it seems certain that the rest of humanity will be next.

The Human Sphere is at a tipping point. Crisis and flash points shoot up constantly. Bickering politicians, corrupt corporations, criminal syndicates, and more. Unity, even in the face of annihilation, does not seem to be in the nature of humanity.

This is where you come in.

You are members of a newly formed team Bureau Noir of O-12, the international government that tries to unify the Human Sphere. Bureau Noir is the secret service for O-12. Unlike many such organizations, Bureau Noir recruits most of its agents and assets from outside of the O-12. Noir’s directors prefer to gather talented people who have the ability to see the bigger picture, and then put them together. Commandos, hackers, investigators, spies, detectives, infiltrators, engineers. Bureau Noir teams are eclectic... but also highly effective.

And this new team... well, the fate of humanity might just well hedge on them.
