Opening Narration Goes Here

Welcome to the wiki for the Legends of the Phantom World, a low fantasy, tabletop role playing campaign featuring gritty honor, designed for play with Ryan Stoughton's amazing Epic 6 modification for the d20 game system. This wiki is meant to serve as a campaign guide and setting document for potential future games.

The game draws its inspiration from a mix of old Celtic and Norse myth, Michael Moorcock's Elric novels and Jo Walton's Sulien novels, with some WarCraft elements thrown into the mix. Or at least that was the original idea; it seems to have strayed from there.

Scalgard is the Phantom World, a land of war and conflict, where nation strives to overcome nation and, behind the scenes, great elemental lords move men as they can to achieve their own immortal aims. This is a land where even the greatest hero could be felled by a well-armed and well-drilled band of peasants, but where that same hero may stand tall with the mightiest horrors the world has to off.
