This is a character that would represent a reincarnation of the Scarab along with the individual "tweaks" that a new host would bring. I DON'T have the Freedom City 2ed book and so I cannot reference the new Scarab template that I understand is in the book.
If anybody would care to check my math, I'd appreciate it.
The basic background is that Scarab II was born in 1979 (he's 26 y/o) at the the same time that Scarab I was sacrificing himself to save his teammates. Scarab II (working name of Matt Collins) had latent psychic abilities and the Scarab essence was drawn to those abilities. The full potential of the Scarab di dnot surface until Matt was 16 y/o at a high school dance. The event was rather spectacular. Matt studied and honed his abilities. Eventually, he was able to learn that his powers were reincarnated from the first Scarab. Now he dons the costume of the Scarab (slight changes) and joins the fight anew.
