A character in Morgrave High: Passing Marks

Grace Shadar

"Back at Flamekeep, we would never have allowed things to grow this lax."

Occupation: Deputy Headmaster, Professor of Theology

Role: Knight

Theme Song: "Furnace Room Lullaby" by Neko Case -[1]

Second Theme: "Babylon" by Don McLean - [2] - [3]

  • A slim middle-aged woman with a shaven skull who wears the white and silver stole of a knight of the silver flame over her academic robes -- when she is not wearing her ceremonial plate armor! -- Principal Shadar is a notoriously strict disciplinarian. Woe be it to any student she catches violating one of the school’s many, many by-laws. Despite what is written in the lavatory stalls, she has never actually been proven to have said the famous quote attributed to her: “Truancy must be punished with cleansing flame!”
  • Protip: it is claimed that the only living thing in this world that Deputy Shadar loves is her fat, old, derangedly-evil white cat named Bitsy, who wanders the halls of Morgrave high with impunity. Beware the cat!
