Acreage is a largely feudal agri-world, with a few examples of modern technology, primarily controlled by the Planetary Governor "High King" Estragon von Wulfenbach. Acreage maintains a small fleet of planetary defense ships, although nothing even close to warp-capable. Acreage has to import modern machinery and parts from off-world, only being able to produce mono-weapons and a cheap local alternative to the stormtrooper carapace called the Acreage-pattern Knight Carapace on world. Lord Estragon is the strongest High King Acreage has had in it's entire history, and he has turned the world into his own personal plaything. Able to easily pay it's tithe of food, Acreage is able to do trade with other nearby worlds to import the modern technology Estragon uses to cement his hold on the world. The world is divided into Kingdoms, each ruled by a King, who in turn has many knights beneath him who maintain individual estates with the attendant serfs. All of the Kings owe fealty to the High King Estragon von Wulfenbach. The primary qualification for knighthood is being able to afford your own modern weapons (mostly melee) and armor.
