Five facts about Willem Noordhoek
1. As a kid, he ran wild with his sister on the streets and canals of Marienburg after mother died. They were particularly fascinated by the "Sea Elves" and Elf Town and were repeatedly caught by the Manniocs-quinsh trying to get into areas where Humans weren't allowed.
2. Is contemptuous of his money-grubbing father and hates his thug of a brother - needs to prove to former he can be successful and to latter he's not weak.
3. Got his scar from doing his comedy drunken Norseman impression in front of the wrong person
4. Thinks he can get by on glib charm and not too much work.
5. Has a wide-eyed and fearless curiosity about foreign people and cultures and, although fiercely proud of his city, he can sometimes be dismissive of Marienburger provincialism (we think we know all about the world, but we only know about the bits that come to us).
