Elf[edit]
Description: Elves are slender, graceful demi-humans with delicate features. They come from the great forests to the south. Few elves travel outside their ancestral homes. Those that due are the ones gifted with the ability to work magic and be powerful warriors. Their elven armor allows them to cast magic while wearing it, and they can also cast magic while wearing specially sized magical armor.
Abilities: Elves have infravision and thus can see in total darkness up to 60'. They have an innate ability to detect hidden and secret doors, finding them 1/3 of the time. Elves are not paralyzed by the attack of ghouls. They speak Common, Elvish, Orc, Hobgoblin, and Gnoll.
Requirement: Elves must have a minimum of 9 in Intelligence.
Prime Requiste: Their prime requisite abilities are Strength and Intelligence. Elves with a 13+ Strength and Intelligence gain a +5% bonus to earned experience. Elves with a 13+ Strength and 16+ Intelligence gain a +10% bonus to earned experience.

Attribute adjustments: Elves may lower Wisdom by 2 points to raise Strength or Intelligence by 1 point. This process may be repeated, though Wisdom may not be lowered below 9, and Strength and Intelligence cannot rise above 18. These adjustments may only be done at character creation.
Starting Spells: All elves start with 1 (+ Intelligence bonus) spell(s) at the beginning of play. Their spells are always determined at random.
