Anich is, like many children of farming families, anxious to leave and find something more profitable.  He has heard of the missing group at the Sunless Citadel and sees this as the right time to find gold and avoid digging a field for many years to come.
He is a moderately stout human, already weathered from sun and rain.  He's a reasonable affable individual who so far has avoided becoming too cynical.
