An ex-cop in his 40s, O'Keefe has fallen on hard times. He seems to be some sort of private investigator. He started to become involved when he encountered some strangeness at the Irish Rose, August 1, 1932. After encountering Franklin Scott and his sister, he was recruited by the US Government, and is currently working as a special agent.
