Lupa bloei, or Moon bloom, or Lupa bloei in mud speak, is a flower unremarcable in appearence but not so in it's way of life. It is in a symbiotic relationship with an elderly truncata clam.
A truncata clam spends most of it's life buried in rich mud. After first burying it's self, it surfaces only once again - to release it's eggs/sperm. That period is when a moon bloom seed enters it and starts growing inside of it.
The moon bloom thus gets protection and easy access to rich nutrients. It is not known what, if anything, the clam gets out of the relationship.
