The Ocuanalytitron Prototype

The Ocuanalytitron (Innovative Super-Science)

A heavy set of flight goggles borrowed from Charlie Degrange became the inspiration for this device. Built by Doctor Bermuda shortly after the events chronicled in The Hand of the Demon, the Ocuanalytitron exists to ensure that something so common as darkness would never again diminish the super-ape's brilliance. Of course, as with most of the Doctor's inventions, the Ocuanalytitron turned out to be a bit more flexible in its uses than originally envisioned.
