| + | Yancey grew up in north central Minnesota where his father taught him to hunt and fish. He joined the local Army National Guard unit at the Age of 17 and is currently a Staff Sergeant in the Guard. After school his family moved to the Twin Cities and Yancey attended Technical College to become an Electrician. During his time in college he met Claire. They dated until Claire graduated with a teaching degree from the University of Minnesota and then they got married. After Yancey's parents passed away and having no siblings the couple decide to move closer to Claire's parents. They bought a small house in Westport WI, on the northern tip of Lake Mendota about an hour north of Madison. After moving Yancey started his own Electrical business and things were going good until the economical down turn in 2008-2010. Yancey almost lost his business and had to take work farther and farther from home to make ends meet. Yancey got a job in Northern Wisconsin wiring a bunch of cabins in a new section of a recreational area that is being built to cater to wealthy customers coming from the Chicago area. To save money Yancey is sleeping at the job site in his van. | ||
