'''Look:''' ''Man, white, calloused hands, ragged clothing, no costume.'' Flickr boasts a toned, but fairly average frame despite standing 190cm (six foot three) tall, presenting as a little lanky in certain lights. With a dirty face of slightly precocious stubble for the eighteen-year-old and a mess of emerald hair with dark roots and short, black back and sides he comes off as rather unkempt, normal considering his homeless status. He looks Northwestern European in descent but has the kind of natural tan one gets unavoidably by being outside all the time, rather than acquired and carefully-distributed. Flickr dresses eclectically, but his clothes are always ragged, punkish and have spray paint stains; lately he has been sporting an emerald green tweed blazer with a number of genuine bullet holes in it. Goggles, a flannel-pattern face scarf and fingerless gloves are also in persistent attendance due to his graffiti art habit. There is a measure of generally dressing for ease of movement however, as he's picked up the useful talent of parkour for a homeless kid in Halycon City.

'''Team Moves:'''

Moment of Truth: The moment that you show who you really are: your mentor, or something different. You can do whatever your mentor could do and more. You can do the incredible, even the things they always failed to accomplish. Of course, they’re not going to see you the same way, no matter which path you choose…
When you '''share a triumphant celebration with someone''', make them your love or rival immediately to mark potential. If they are already your love or rival, take Influence over them and mark potential.

Team Moves:
When you '''share a vulnerability or weakness with someone''', give them Influence and hold 2. Spend that hold to help them as if it were Team in the pool.

When you share a triumphant celebration with someone, ask them if you’ve been a good leader or effective teammate. If they say yes, your mentor loses Influence over you and you mark potential. If they say no, your mentor gains Influence over you, and you take +1 forward on using the Label your mentor embodies.
'''Bull Moves:'''

When you share a vulnerability or weakness with someone, tell them a secret about your mentor (including your feelings towards them). Give them Influence over you and add 1 Team to the pool.
'''You've got a head you don't need:''' When you '''provoke someone''' with obvious threats and shows of force, roll +Danger instead of +Superior.

Backstory:
'''In a china shop:''' When you '''directly engage a threat''', you can cause significant collateral damage to your environment to choose an additional option, even on a miss.

How did you first meet your mentor?
'''The Bull's Heart:'''

Root was my music teacher. Not even kidding you. In retrospect, it was probably a cover story for the secret agent thing. And he still does give me musical pointers when he's not teaching me magic. Officially, he's only helping me with the piano.
'''Love:''' Emily

When and why did you choose to train with them?
'''Rival:''' Hellion

There's no one else around to teach me how to use my powers. My dad doesn't think I'm old enough (and he's leery of the supernatural in general), and contrary to what you see on TV, wizards don't actually advertise.
'''Defender:''' When you '''leap to defend your love or rival in battle''', roll + Danger instead of + Savior to defend them.

Now, to tell you that story, I have to tell you this one. During one of our lessons, a guy in body armor bursts through the window, armed to the teeth. Before I could even react, Leonard draws a gun of his own and puts a bullet in him. Normally, I would have freaked out at that point...well, I still did. But it wasn't over. The guy jumped to his feet and, for lack for a better word, exploded out of his armor. He wasn't human, at least not anymore. More like the living dead. Also, ten feet tall. If Root had been in his prime, he probably still could have handled the zombie supersoldier thing with ease.
'''BACKSTORY:'''

But his prime was a long time and many emergency surgeries ago. Which brings me to another reason I decided to stick with Leonard. He knows computers. He knows music, and he knows spy stuff. Taking care of himself beyond the basics? Not so much. He's a stubborn idiot, but no one deserves to be alone with his kind of pain. Anyway, about that fight. I really didn't help that much. I mostly distracted the zombie by throwing little fireballs while Leonard shot out its glowing weak point.
''Who changed you?'' Blackness. Paralysis. Bright lights. A Scandinavian accent. A foreign tongue. The nightmarish feeling of your body and mind being displaced in time. That's all I remember. I have no desire to dig any deeper.

Why did they agree to train you?
''How did you escape from them?'' They dressed me in rags, made tracklines on my arms, dragged me down to the docks. Shot me in the back of the head. At least, I heard a gunshot. But I lived.

Apparently to him, that qualified as "good under pressure". Root thinks I have a gift. The power to make a difference. And to hear him tell it, he'd give any budding magic user some pointers to help them avoid blowing too much stuff up. There's gotta be more than that, but I can never read the guy. (Leonard is grappling with his actions as an AEGIS operative. He wants desperately to prove to himself that he is capable of doing some genuine good for someone. Leonard hopes that Simon can put the knowledge and skills he passes on to better use than he ever did. Moreover, he has lost all contact with his family and friends, and sometimes he can't help but think of his apprentices as the children he never had.)
''Who, outside the team, tries to take care of you now?'' King. He picked me up early on. I don't know much about him other than he talks like he has powers but I've never seen them, he runs the gun trade in Halcyon City and he's always been kind to me.

Who else, outside of the team, knows about your training?
''Why do you try to be a hero?'' King. He told me to. He said people like us had a responsibility to do what we think is right.

Root had one other apprentice. No, she did not turn to evil. Matter of fact, I don't completely blame her for leaving.
''Why do you care about the team?'' I don't feel like such a freak around them.

I hadn't seen my twin since our parents broke up. Imagine my surprise when Melanie showed up for magic lessons. I wish she'd stuck around. Honestly, both of us had issues his belief that you couldn't be a hero and a human being at the same time. But the idea repulsed her in a really personal way. In her eyes, you couldn't help people without being a part of the world they live in. Moreover, heroes were supposed to be symbols of hope, not lurking vigilantes. Mel went independent after she and Root had their falling out (though I've made it clear I'll come running if she ever needs my help). She's doing pretty well as a hero, if the livestreams are any indication.
'''RELATIONSHIPS:'''

Why do you care about the team?
''Emily is your love. You've opened up to them about the worst parts of your past.'' Emily and Flickr talk. And they skate. And they spray. But mostly talk. Since they randomly met that day, they've had a thousand conversations about all manner of things. They felt comfortable talking to one another, for whatever reason. Maybe Flickr seemed so distant from Emily's real life that there was no anxiety about telling him things; but Flickr definitely talks to Emily because he feels an empathy with her struggles to control her powers, a kindred spirit. Of course, when they talk that much, eventually his past came up. He was reticent at first, but one time, on a bad day, Flickr told her about the flashes he could see when he closed his eyes. The dark room. The blue light. The people, it was a different one every time, wrists hanging from a rope attached to the ceiling. And punching them. Over and over. The crunching sounds. Flickr does not want to be the person he is when he closes his eyes. He wants to protect, not hurt. He's decided to protect Emily. (I've taken Defender as my Bull's Heart move!)

I mean, there's the obvious stuff. When I need to save the day, I can trust them to have my back. But it's more than that. I feel like I can be me around them. They...support me instead of pushing me to be someone I'm not.
''Hellion is your rival. They tried to control you at a crucial moment.'' In a moment of weakness when Flickr's temper got the best of him, someone's life was at stake and while Hellion did not go about it the best way, he saved that life.

''Noor'' is cool. She seems kind of full of herself at times, Flickr doesn't know what the whole vlogging thing is about and he's still struggling to deal with the fact that he's surrounded by people who have a far better life than he does (in his opinion) but Noor has been kind to him. He treats the fact that she spars with him as a much bigger deal than someone normally would. As far as he's concerned, it's tantamount to risking serious harm to help him, because his punches can be very not gentle, although the point of the exercise is to learn to make them that way. Still, he doesn't really understand her. She behaves strangely around him sometimes and he's not sure what it means.

''AJ'' knows what it's like to have something thrust upon you that you don't want (at least, that's the way he sees it) like him and Emily, so there is empathy there, as well. I think surrounded by the grand affairs of the pantheon, Flickr sometimes intentionally provides a rather grounding element, because while he sees himself as a freak, he's down-to-earth in his goals, in the way he sees things. It's very genuine and contrary to the grand schemes of her Legacy.

''Arnilla'' gets stared at. A lot. Flickr does not know what to make of her. They aren't on the same wavelength at all, apart from being outsiders. But the way she is is different to the way he is. He wants in. She's just visiting. At least, that's the way he sees it. In that way, she's the same as the others, she has everything, she gets to play pretend at being normal half the time, while if Flickr is seen on school grounds he's escorted out by security. Envy characterises their relationship.

''Bonespur'' and him have a certain amount of history. At the behest of King, he and a bunch of other street kids broke into and vandalised the trophy room, only to get chased out by Bonespur. He feels bad about it. It seems like she's taken it in her stride, like all things, but Flickr isn't so sure. He seems to get tongue-tied talking to her a lot for some reason, but plays it off as a distant silence.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Emily is your love. You've opened up to them about the worst parts of your past. Emily and Flickr talk. Hellion is your rival. They tried to control you at a crucial moment. In a moment of weakness when Flickr's temper got the best of him, someone's life was at stake and while Hellion did not go about it the best way, he saved that life.

Noor is cool. She seems kind of full of herself at times, Flickr doesn't know what the whole vlogging thing is about and he's still struggling to deal with the fact that he's surrounded by people who have a far better life than he does (in his opinion) but Noor has been kind to him. Arnilla gets stared at. A lot. Flickr does not know what to make of her. They aren't on the same wavelength at all, apart from being outsiders. But the way she is is different to the way he is.
