Syne'Queth (Syn, and he is well aware of the double meaning taken by many to his shortened name) has existed for a while on the very periphery of the nobles of the Mirkwood Elves. He feels he has learned as much as he can in the austere libraries of the Kingdom of Thraunduil, and has taken it upon himself to venture out into the world in search of more knowledge. Perhaps because of Thraunduil's isolationism, Syn finds it more important than ever to gather knowledge beyond the halls of the Mirkwood King. Perhaps he can bring something back that will bolster their defenses, or bring hope and trust back to his increasingly xenophobic people. In the meantime, many of his people have shunned him, and while his noble blood is recognized, it is looked at with pity and a little disdain.
Syn is fair and lithe, with eyes as green as the forest used to be. And if there are flecks of black within them, perhaps that reflects the forest as it is now. He has seen combat, but prefers to evade, living to fight and learn another day.
