| The core M&M ist Edition book doesn't come with a default setting, but does include a adventure that takes place in the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_City Freedom City] setting. Strangely, though, the example characters that players can use in this adventure are generally associated with another M&M setting: [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=META-4&action=edit META-4]. This, combinded with little information from Green Ronin means that its' unclear whether they are separate or a combined setting. For our purposes here, we'll deal with them as separate settings.
