Personal Details, Work Performance, Special Training and Other Notes[edit]
Jase Leson was born on a small-corporate run colony, and grew up bright enough to realize his dream of joining the Survey Corps. That dream ended in a crash on his first solo mission. To be fair, he walked away from that, but not from the predator attack the day rescue showed up. He's still paying off his medical bills for that, after the Service denied his benefits. The corporate-owned freighter he hired on to after her recovered suffered a drive failure just before the company went bankrupt. He managed a few mostly-successful runs with a free trader after that, until they took on a passenger on the run from gangsters with an unrestrained approach to explosives. Of course all this, and a few incidents during his increasingly-long stints as a spaceport cargo handler, don't form any kind of pattern. There's no such thing as curses. His growing collection of charms, amulets and religious icons is just a hobby.
